South River Named High School Chapter of the Month!
South River is one of BBMD’s newest chapters and they’ve had an amazing start. They were offered the opportunity to open a Best Buddies Chapter this fall. The administration, teachers, and students embraced our mission and didn’t waste a minute to get started! South River officially opened on November 2nd and held an outstanding match party on November 20th.
Buddy Pairs got to know each other while cooking and eating lunch together. The chapter meets regularly to help foster strong friendships. They have also gone on a field trip together and made gingerbread houses to celebrate the holidays.
We can’t wait to see what South River has planned for 2010! One thing is for sure; a great year of fun and friendship is in store for this outstanding chapter!
